Pricing and Photographing your Home Correctly for Selling!

Hi! This is Jennifer Young with Keller Williams Realty and I’m about to go on a
listing appointment. I just wanted to talk about pricing and photos and how
important that is when your listing a home.
This lady called me because she couldn’t get her home sold. I looked at the photos and the listing and the photos are very dark and blurry. They weren’t professional quality and it looks like she’s got a beautiful home but certain areas that are little bit dated. It just makes such a difference when your listing a home today to have professional quality photos of high-caliber because everybody looks online.
And I also noticed that she is priced at $529,000. That’s a huge mistake in this market because people search in $25,000 increments so she’s missing this range and under market no matter where your house is within that $525,000 range, being priced four thousand dollars above the huge price plane could be a crucial mistake.
If you are thinking of selling in the Northern Virginia area, we would love to help. We have great tips on how to prepare your home for listing, staging, marketing, and pricing your home appropriately so it sells fast and at the best price! Please give our team a call today!
