Bloomberg News has been reporting, but my team is living it right now…DC Metro Prices are On the Rise!
To give you an example…I put two foreclosure properties on the market this week and in 24 hours they have 7 offers with many more coming in each day. This picture is of a bank owned property on Beverly Park Dr in Springfield. It’s listed for $249,900 and definitely needs work, but a great price for an investor. We’re seeing many all cash buyers in the marketplace. And each sale the prices keep going up.
It’s crazy out there and there is just not enough affordable inventory for our strong market. The recent interest rate increase hasn’t slowed down this market at all!
