If you have your home for sale in the fall, there are numerous ways to help it stand out. You may know the usual of keeping the leaves raked and the lawn cut and clean. But here are some fall curb appeal tricks that do not take much money and take less than 5 minutes!

1. Pumpkin up

Pumpkins! So cheap and easy to put a few pumpkins on the steps of your front porch. Not only are pumpkins bright and festive, they will also draw attention to your entrance. When fall comes around, your trees and bushes may seem bare. This exposes more of your home to the scrutiny of the curb appeal test. If you can keep potential buyers focused on your entrance, they may not be as concerned with some of those patches in the grass that inevitably show up in the fall.

2. Festive Wreath

Drawing attention to your front door is a smart move with curb appeal in any season. It is simple to do in the fall by adding a leafy wreath or one with miniature pumpkins or gourds.  This automatically draws attention to your front door and can spark interest in drive by shoppers.

3. Potted Mums

Sure you can plant them, but just tossing a few in pots and adding them to your front steps or walk way can add needed color and attention to deal!

4. No Inflatables

When you were a kid, you may have loved that house on the corner that had their lawn covered with Halloween inflatables and the haunted walk through. But, when it comes to having your home on the market, less is more. At least with the inflatables and scary decorations. Keep the decor simple and not taste specific. Not everyone will love your ghost in the tree, or witch on the door.

You do not need to go overboard with fall decor, but a few potted mums, a beautiful wreath and some pumpkins on the steps can make your home look fresh and inviting.

Curb appeal is essential in getting potential buyers to walk through your front door. For more tips read this article.
