Asking Prices for Houses Accelerate in 40 Metro Areas

Research shows an increase in asking prices compared to this time last year!

While an increase in asking prices doesn’t necessarily lead to higher sale prices, we are seeing a slight pick up in this fall market due to lower interest rates and increased buyer activity in October and November. This time last year we were seeing lower asking prices and less buyer activity. This is good news for our sellers! And also good news for buyers as the interest rates are still low and there is a good amount of inventory available on the market!
