What A Staged House Should Look Like to Bring Top Sales Price

This is what a staged house should look like to maximize the sales price! These pictures are from a townhome that is currently under contract and got an offer pretty quickly, partly because of the staging and updates.

Entry Way

Although this entry way is small, a few pieces that bring a pop to a small space can make it feel part of the home instead of a clutter zone or just a hallway. This entry table is narrow and long which gives the illusion of more space. But if it was wider, it could make this hallway feel tight and cramped instead of airy and beautiful.

Check out this gorgeous open living space. Although it may not be a lot of square footage, the placement and size of their furniture is perfect for the room and maximizes the space. Buyers will not be distracted by decor because the modern grey paint and the neutral color palate helps a buyer be able to envision the home with their own things in it.

This kitchen is lovely but what makes a statement is the fact that the counters are clear, the walkways are not blocked with unneeded furniture, and the lighting is fun yet still neutral. Even the dining area and sitting area are staged in a way that makes this room appear bigger and inviting. The decor and furniture are interesting and proportionately perfect for the size of the room. Buyers will be able to picture their whole family gathered around and using the space!

  • Staging Pays Off

We are so proud of our clients and their hard work in getting this home updated and staged for selling especially because they did not ignore any part of their home. Even though the laundry room was small it was clear of all clutter and painted a nice neutral color. And the bedrooms were clean and clutter free with great taste in decor and style. Since the rooms were not over filled with furniture and desks, counters and shelves were not stuffed with clutter, this home was really able to shine. Their hard work paid off as they are under contract within a month of listing!
