The Spring Market Starts Earlier than You May Think!

Spring is a very popular time to sell! But many sellers do not realize that the spring market starts earlier than actual spring! You want to get a head start on the spring market to get the best price for your home and get it sold the fastest!

Hi, this is Jennifer young with Keller Williams Realty and I wanted to talk
about the Spring Market. Spring of 2016 is expected to be strong but spring
actually starts in February or March.
I know that sounds wild because most people think of spring starting in April or May but when that time comes around, every seller lists their home. Inventory increases and creates more of a buyer’s market.
Spring actually, in our area, is February and March. if you list your home during that early spring market / late winter market it’s a lot less competition. A lot of buyers are out looking to get a head start on the competition and we expect interest rates to still be low.
So if you’re considering selling your home in the spring of 2016 we’re telling all of our sellers to think about February and March as spring because we think it’ll be the highest prices and lowest days on the market!
Give us a call if you would like to talk more about the Spring market!
If you are looking to buy or sell in the Northern Virginia area, this is a great time! Please give our team a call! We would love to help you find your dream home!
