Breaking News on Buying a Home After a Short Sale

FHA just changed their lending rules and you have to wait 4 years after a short sale to buy a home through FHA UNLESS it is through the FHA ‘back to work program’. The back to work program is a special program for those that did a short sale because they had a reduction of 20% or more in income and they had no choice but to short sale their current home.

With this program a person can buy just 1 year after doing a short sale as long as their hardship in a short sale was a reduction of income and they take a home buying counseling course. This is GREAT news for those of you who short sold your home under these types of circumstances over a year ago and are ready to buy again!

Call us for more details and to take advantage of these low interest rates!
