November Market Update + FREE Seller Seminar Wed Nov 4th!

Happy November!  Watch the video below for another monthly update. The market is still incredibly strong, especially for well-priced single-family homes, which is a rarity for late fall. Despite a slight slow-down in luxury homes and condos/high-density locations, interest rates are continuing to keep even those properties moving. Interest rates for home purchases are in the high 2% and around 3% for investments, and we anticipate these rates to remain low through 2021, which is simply incredible! I am thrilled to share that we have sold 430 homes so far in 2020!

Our seller’s seminar is Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at 6:30 p.m., and will continue to be the first Wednesday of each month.

Happy June from Jennifer Young Homes! As we welcome summer and celebrate the end of the school year, here’s a quick update on the real estate market across the DMV. Despite national headlines of slowdowns, our local market remains steady and balanced. Inventory is up 49% year-over-year, giving buyers more options—but also leading to a slight oversupply in some rural and luxury segments. Pending sales are down 6.6%, the lowest since 2015, largely due to interest rates holding around 7%. Still, motivated buyers are securing well-priced, move-in-ready homes.
