Our Favorite DMV Pumpkin Patches!

With the Fall season upon us, we’ve put together a list of our 10 favorite DMV pumpkin patches! From Gaver Farm in Maryland to Fairview Farm Fun in Virginia, we’re covering it all! Most pumpkin patches are open for the season, so let’s dive right in!

Maryland

Knightongale Farm Pumpkin Patch

Where: 3924 Solomons Island Rd, Harwood, MD 20776

When: Weekends from 10am-5pm through November 6th

Admission: Tickets ranging from $8.50-$10.50 available online; prices increase slightly at the gate; children 2 and under are free

In addition to the pumpkin patch and corn maze, Knightongale offers face painting*, peddle tractors to ride, hay rides, barnyard basketball, apple cannons*, animal petting, food, drinks, and so much more! (* indicates paid activities)

The Maryland Corn Maze

Where: 389 Gambrills Rd, Gambrills, MD 21054

When: Weekends (Fridays 9:30am-3:30pm, Saturdays 10am-9:30pm, and Sundays 10am-7pm) through November 6th

Admission: Tickets available online for $15.95

Check out the 8 acre corn maze, zip line, bouncepad, petting zoo, hayrides, Horse Play Hay Day, EIEIO Trail, sling shots, giant lincoln logs, bouncy animals, pedal tractors, milk the ‘cow’, rodeo roping area, tight ropes, giant straw pyramid, web swings, rope ladder, tire mountain with slides, pony rides offered for an extra fee, and so much more!

Weber’s Cider Mill Farm Inc

Where: 2526 Proctor Ln, Parkville, MD 21234

When: Daily from 9:30am-6:30pm through November 6th

Admission: Tickets must be purchased online and range from $7-$11, depending on the day

In addition to pumpkin and apple picking, Weber’s Barnyard Fun includes a hayride, play structure, duck races, mini maze, hillside slides, straw maze, tire mountain, farm animals, boo barn, and barrel racing. On the weekends, you can also expect to find a caricature artist, aqua art, face painter, balloon creations, and glitter tattoos (all available for an additional charge).

Old McDonalds Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze

Where: 1597 Arden Nollville Rd, Inwood, WV 25428

When: Weekends (Fridays 1-6pm, Saturdays 10am-6pm, and Sundays 12-6pm) through October 29th

Admission: General Admission is $6; hayrides are an additional $4; everything is free for children under 3

General admission includes entry into 2 corn mazes, 2 jump pads, farm animals for viewing, 2 60’ tube slides, playground, picnic areas, and nature trails! Pumpkins are of course available for picking and sold by the pound. There’s also a separate night maze that takes place from 7-10pm!

Gaver Farm

Where: 5501 Detrick Road, Mt. Airy, MD 21771

When: Daily from 10am-6pm

Admission: Tickets are $11.50 and must be purchased online, in advance; children under 2 are free; animal feed cups can be purchased for an additional $3

Gaver Farm’s Fall Fun Fest features a 7-acre “Hay Days” Corn Maze for a day full of fun on the farm with 65 plus attractions, including giant slides, jumping pillows, playgrounds, games, mini mazes, farm animals, and more!

Cox Farms

Where: 15621 Braddock Rd, Centreville, VA 20120

When: Thursdays through Mondays September 24 through November 7 from 10am-6pm, plus Tuesday, November 8 from 10am-5pm

Admission: Tickets range from $10-$25, depending on the day, and must be purchased online; children under 2 are free

Admission includes giant slides, world famous hayrides, farm animals & their babies, Cornundrum Cornfield Adventure, Imaginature Trail, rope swings, Kiddie Zone, Goat Village, straw tunnels, themed play areas, live entertainment, local apples & fresh cider, Foamhenge, and a patch pumpkin to take home!

Cox Farms also hosts a Field of Fears most nights of the festival from 7:30-11pm. Field of Fears tickets must be purchased separately, online and range from $25-$35.

Round Hill Farm

Where: 6347 Everona Rd, Culpeper, VA 22701

When: Weekdays from 3:30-6:00pm and weekends from 10am-5:00 pm through October 30th

Admission: Tickets are $15 with no reservation is required; children under 2 are free

General admission includes a hayride to the pumpkin patch, 200 ft. zip line, 100 ft. super slide, hay bale maze and pyramid, corn maze, farm animals, moon bounces, tire swing playground, and a train ride. Not included in general admission, but available for purchase, pumpkins, face painting, pony rides, barrel train, pumpkin blaster, mechanical bull, and haunted house rides!

Fairview Farm Fun

Where: 316 Fairview Rd, Luray, VA 22835

When: Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-6pm through October 30th

Admission: Tickets are $10; children under 2 are free

At Fairview Farm Fun, you can find a pumpkin patch, hay rides (every hour on the hour), hay mountain, slides, swings, sea saws, 2 corn cribs, pedal tractors, duck races, large sandbox, corn hole, “The Tongue Biter” – mega slide, pumpkin painting @ 2:00pm every Saturday & Sunday, barrel train rides, corn maze, barnyard games, playground equipment, goats, pond fishing (catch and release), volleyball, and horseshoes.

Belmont Pumpkin Farm 

Where: 155 Belmont Ln, North, VA 23128

When: Fridays from 3-7pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-6pm through October

Admission: Tickets are $13 per person or $35 per family (family is 2 adults in the same household and their dependent children); children under 2 and adults over 62 are free

Check out Belmont Pumpkin Farm’s hayrides, pumpkin picking, treasure hunts, scarecrow-making, corn maze, and sunflower trail. You’ll also find pulled pork BBQ, street tacos, and pumpkin desserts (pumpkin roll, pumpkin pie, and their famous pumpkin funnel cake)!

Lloyd Family Farms

Where: 12204 Pinhook Rd, Rockville, VA 23146

When: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9am to 5pm through October 30th

Admission: Tickets are $12; children under 2 are free

Admission includes the hayride, corn pit, visiting with the many animals, a corn maze, the straw castle, a sand pile, the giant ball field, various yard games, and access to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are $0.79 lb. (individual pumpkins weighing 40lbs or more will be capped at $30). Plus, local food trucks every weekend!
